The workshop was held per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5070-6B, Airport Master Plans, which recommends that airport sponsors provide the opportunity for public input into the formulation of master plans. 

The workshop was held in an informal open house format where representatives of the Airport and the master plan project team were available to talk with anyone interested in the Master Plan process and the development alternatives that had been identified to date.  Preliminary findings on the evaluation of the alternatives were also made available for review and discussion.  Graphics were on display so citizens could review the information.
